This document contains the terms of sale for all online purchases at pluganddrive.uk, as well the terms and conditions of all installation services, third party software subscriptions, and government grants.

Interpretation & Definitions

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:

  • Company (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to Gibbons Engineering Group LTD T/A Plug&Drive, Gibbons Engineering Group, Woodrolfe Road, Tollesbury, CM9 8RY.
  • Goods refer to the items offered for sale on the Service.
  • Orders mean a request by You to purchase Goods from Us.
  • Service refers to the Website.
  • Website refers to Plug&Drive, accessible from pluganddrive.co.uk.
  • You (referred to as either “You” or “Your” in this agreement) means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at Plug&Drive.

If, for any reason, You are not completely satisfied with a purchase We invite You to review our policy on refunds and return.

The following terms are applicable for any products that You purchased with Us.

Your Order Cancellation Rights

You are entitled to cancel Your Order within 30 days without giving any reason for doing so.

The deadline for cancelling an Order is 30 days from the date on which You received the Goods or on which a third party you have appointed, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the product delivered.

In order to exercise Your right of cancellation, You must inform Us of your decision by means of a clear statement. You can inform us of your decision by:

We will reimburse You no later than 14 days from the day on which We receive the returned Goods. We will use the same means of payment as You used for the Order, and You will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.

This does not affect your statutory rights. Nor does it impact any warranty agreements.

Conditions for Returns

In order for the Goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

  • The Goods were purchased in the last 30 days
  • The Goods are in the original packaging
  • The Goods must be unused
  • They have been uninstalled by a professional electrician – with the correct qualifications for handing a Charge Point (C&G 2919)

The following Goods cannot be returned:

  • The supply of Goods made to Your specifications or clearly personalised.
  • The supply of Goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over.
  • The supply of Goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
  • The supply of Goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.
Warranty Claims

If the Goods were properly maintained, installed, and used in line with the manufacturer’s instructions and a fault with the Goods arise then a warranty claim can be made within 36 months of purchase.

You will be responsible for the return of the Goods, including safely uninstalling them and transporting them to the address below.

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return or warranty conditions at our sole discretion.

Returning Goods

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the Goods to Us. You should send the Goods at the following address:

We cannot be held responsible for Goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the Goods or proof of received return delivery.

We cannot be held responsible for misuse of the Charge Point, detailed in the user manual. This includes any wear or damage from leaving the cable plugged into the charge point, or using the equipment in heavy rain.

Your warranty for the Charge Point is with ABB – which we will act as an distributor.

This does not affect Your statutory rights.

OVEZ Grant Terms & Conditions

This is a brief outline of what is included in a standard installation quote from Plug&Drive per socket under the OVEZ grant scheme. Most additional costs would have been calculated at the site visit and this would have been outlined to You in the quote provided by the Plug&Drive sales person. If We do discover additional costs during installation or are asked to provide an additional service then We will pause the job and outline these costs in a quote prior to undertaking the additional work, this may delay the installation of your EV charger(s).

Included in your standard quote:

  • 2 hours installation time
  • An ABB charging box (phase and wattage to be predetermined and purchased from Plug&Drive by You).
  • Additional cables up to 10 meters.
  • Fitting charge point to brick, plaster, or pedestal.
  • Fitting and testing of the electrical connections.
  • Properties earthing must be at the current requirements, this will be checked during the initial site visit.
  • Set up of the charger.
  • No groundworks or civils included unless agreed prior to installation.
  • Customer must comply with the OZEV scheme requirements. If You fail to meet the requirements in any way and the grant is rescinded then We will require payment of the grant monies (outlined in your quote) by You in full, immediately.
FUUSE Terms of Use

If you have signed up to the use of the Plug&Drive back-office system, FUUSE, You agree to these terms and conditions:

  • If there is a fault with the software, there is a reasonable expectation that FUUSE will take up to two working days to fix this, although it is often quicker than this.
  • Plug&Drive is not liable for any loss of income, loss of customers, loss of goodwill, loss of profit, or any reputation damage in the event of a FUUSE software fault or an ABB charger fault.
  • DATA PROTECTION: Plug&Drive and FUUSE abide by all current GDPR regulations. In the event of a breach, Plug&Drive will notify effected parties and well as the relevant authorities immediately. The Customer is solely responsible for their customer data, Plug&Drive and FUUSE are not responsible for any data breaches that occur from the result of Your actions.
General Provisions

By using our services you agree to:

  • Use of order details, including company name and relevant photographs and logos in marketing materials such as social media posts or case studies unless You expressly request otherwise in writing. If You wish to have a case study or social media post removed then your request to email info@pluganddrive.uk, however this may not always be possible, particularly in the case of printed materials, and this request will be considered on a case by case basis.
  • Unless agreed between parties, these terms of use/terms and conditions supersede all previous terms of use and warranty details. We will inform, within a reasonable timeframe, our customers of any major changes or updates prior to implementation.
  • If any provision of the terms of use becomes illegal or invalid, it does not invalidate the remaining provisions in this document. We will update the invalid provision with minimum modification as soon as can reasonably be expected.
  • If the charge point is installed with a SIM card or the use of 4G, Plug&Drive does not take responsibility for poor signal strength which may interfere with the use of the charge point or data collected. We will always recommend using an ethernet cable and will offer this with every installation.
Use of Public Charge Point At Woodrolfe Road
  • You use the Woodrolfe Road car park at Your own risk. Gibbons Engineering Group Ltd/Plug&Drive do not take any responsibility for Your vehicle, Your possessions or You.
  • We are not responsible for any fault while charging Your vehicle.
  • We are not responsible for members of the public using the charge point for an expended period of time.
  • You are only allowed to use the Woodrolfe Road car park for the duration of your charging session.
  • This car park is only open for public charging between 06:00-23:00 Saturdays, Sundays, and bank holidays.
  • We reserve the right to have Your vehicle removed if it is on the premises outside these public opening hours.
  • We reserve the right to change the pricing of our charge point use at any time.
